Joined for Project in Material Management Software. Which covers Stores , Purchase, Sub- Contract, Quality Assurance, Planning area. It was total inventory control system with a MIS reporting systems, as well as decision support systems.
Major Achievements :
1] Material Management Software
I was there from Analysing and Defining the process. We started with SSD then Designing to the Evaluation of the system. It was developed in Foxpro 2.6 under DOS.
2] MRP I and II
Developed in VB6 as a front end and MSSQL as a back end. It was challenging to me as I was in user interaction and problem solving area. Key area was ABC, FSN analysis and report generation with graphical chat representation.
2] Industrial Engineering Software
Developed in VB6 as a front end and MSSQL as a back end. It is full automated systems which has most complicated calculation of TimeSlip management which explains utilization of workers with most important Analysis report with charts.
3] Human Resource System [ Under ERP ]
Designed the complete layout for Payroll System.

As year 2000 is approaching fast, we have upgraded in-house developed systems to Y2K ready level. All the hardware and software at Nichrome are also tested for Y2K compatibility and readiness.
