1. State Election Commission Of Gujarat State - Gandhinagar
Gram Panchayat Election Record Computerization Systems Developed for State Election Commission of Gujarat State and software implemented at all District Election Office ( Collector Office) of Gujarat State & State Election Commission Office. Software Reporting section and Query is very powerful with using selection of few parameter. It is capable to generate 325 type of Election related Reports. The software design covered Three layer of operation first Taluka level, second District level and third State level. Every level different requirement fulfilled by software. Software contain all type of ON LINE Help for code and possible Check used for each field to prevent wrong input.
* Demonstration Of software was held at Sardar Patel Institute of Public Administration at Ahmedabad, on18-09-97 in presence of State Election commissioner. All District Collectors of Gujarat State, District Development Officers,(DDO) were also present. Some Clippings Of Demonstration were covered in the Regional News of Ahmedabad Doordarshan (T.V. News) on 18-09-97.
* After considering some valuable suggestions received during the Demonstration, we finalized software and distributed to all Districts of Gujarat State on 01-01-98. Software covered primary future of Data feeding, Data validation and Data Editing for Creation of Raw Data.
* The Foxpro for windows & Visual foxpro was used. 8 bit regional language Font used. True Type Font is prepared by us for batter performance. Generally Adobe type font is available for regional languages.
* State level Software Development work is in progress. As per considering volume of data we choose Oracle-8 for data security and performance. All data entry Screen development with Form designer were created by using Oracle Graphics supported by OGD.PLL, for showing Status of updating of position.
* Reporting Section covers all reports at taluka level, district level and State level with use of report designer.
* In Graphic Section, all General Management Information is covered with the DRILL DOWN Graphics with colorful Pie and Three Dimensional Bar Chart.
2. Integrated Rural Development Programme (I.R.D.P.)

Strategy Adopted For Pilot basis Computerization
The computerization of this schemes is on Based Data (Raw Data- it is not derived data), hence it is capable of generating any reports at any level, which reduces human errors, it generates format of any type, and it is upgradable. With online help, this computerization will be capable to implement the schemes effectively and within the time frame. It will become easier to monitor the scheme at any level and useful for future planning. The computerization of these schemes is at such a level that it will require minimum manpower.
