EXPERIENCE
1. Accounting Software for a Construction House (Steel Engineers Pvt.
Ltd.) with multiple cashbooks and multiple site accounting. The
package provides for individual site profitability and consolidates
accounts. It also offers individual accounts to be split to various
groups for better-cost controls.
2. Billing and inventory package for Maruti Authorised Dealers
(Automobile Spare Parts Dealer), which includes billing, cost
analysis, multiple stock method with facility to arrive at
minimum order quantity based on sales and lead time of vendor
supply.
3. Conversion tool for dBase databases to Publishable Ventura
files for quick easy tool for composing of Ventura files in
tabular formats. The result of the package was fantastic; a
person who could compose 10-12 pages of text pages could compose
50-60 pages a day with the package.
4. Front Office Management and back office reporting and management
for Diagnostic Centre (Skylab Diagnostic Lab). The package takes
care of patient registration process, billing who visit them to
get their blood, urine, stool examined. This package also takes
care of department wise reporting. This also reports of various
tests being conducted by the center at multi location and their
cost benefit analysis. This also keeps tracks of various Doctors
referring their patient. Whole process is under single network
under Novell Netware. It has also a word Processor for reporting.
5. Billing and accounting package for travel agents (NCS Tours and
Travels, Continental Tours and Travels, S Kumar and Co. Agents:
Indian Airlines, Jet Airlines) for their flight ticketing business.
The package was also developed under Novell Netware for multi user
environment.
6. Accounting, Inventory and Work shop management System for automobile
dealer (French Motor Car Co. Ltd., Guwahati. Bimal Auto Agency,
Guwahati). The package takes care of billing, inventory of spare
parts billing of workshop services and warranty claims from
vehicle manufactures etc. This also takes care of minimum order
quantity of spares for store. This also maintains history of
vehicle maintained by them.
7. Created a commercial application for keeping track of insurance,
fixed deposits and other investments and their regular renewals.
This also has a word processor for generation of letters for
renewal of matured fixed deposits or other related correspondence
and stores them for future reference. The all in one has been a
good success.
8. Developed a package for making progressive bills for construction
house popularly known as running bill based on the progress of
various stages of contract construction work. (N G Construction,
Guwahati).
9. Developed package for registration of students for exams, issue
of call letters and evaluation of answer papers. (Banking Service
Recruitment Board: Guwahati, Railway Recruitment Board: Guwahati).
10. Salary package with pay slips and deduction list, generation of
various statutory reports for submission with tax authorities.

EDUCATION
Mathematics, 1984 Graduate form Dibrugarh University, Assam, India. Two
years post graduate diploma in Computer Science and Application from
1984-86 as a Government of Assam Sponsored candidate under Department of
Electronics Government of India. Completed project in Bongaigaon Refinery
Petrochemicals Ltd., assisted in development of salary package. Worked a
guest lecturer in computer science in Assam Administrative Staff College,
Guwahati. Worked in various Chartered Accountants firms and learnt the
basics of accounts and inventory control. |
