Training Period
Inducted into the company in August 1996 as a Graduate Engineer Trainee
after being shortlisted among 500 odd applicants.
Training in various Departments like Construction, Service, Sales and
Accounts Receivables for a period of six months.
Post Training Period
Allocated Service Sales function, handling whole of Bangalore.
Actively involved in marketing Services, Repair orders, Supply of Spares &
Modernization orders to installed elevators which are a major source of
earnings to the company.
Conduct market surveys with the help of MBA students undergoing summer
training at Otis to assess customer perception of our services and to
identify and correct grey areas in our product/services.
Interact with customers to assess Service Performance, satisfaction levels
and act as a liaison between Service department and Customers.

Department in responding quickly to breakdowns by way of auto paging, keep
track of repetitive problems and generate alerts by way of E-mails, maintain
data required for statistical purpose, generate periodic reports and respond
to customers queries either technical or commercial.
During the initial implementation, I had to interact with our Paging Service
provider to enable them develop a module wherein paging directly from our
systems would be possible.
SMS has been developed on MS-Access and is on Windows NT operating system.
