Khara Pongal
Ingredients
- Rice 1 cup
- Moong dal 1 cup
- Black pepper, 1-1/2 table spoon. (Depending on how spicy you want).
- Jeera.1-1/2 table spoon
- Grated coconut dry
- Salt to taste
Method
- Wash rice and moong dal throughly with water.
- Grind black pepper and jeera in a blender to a dry powder.
- Add rice, Moong dal, Black pepper & Jeera mixture, Salt, grated
dry coconut to a rice cooker.
- Cook for 15-18 min.
Serve hot with ghee. |
