Spicy Dosa

Ingredients 

  • Raw rice-2 cups 
  • Toor dal - 1/2 cup 
  • Dried red chillis -5-7 
  • Oil-2tbsp 
  • Mustard-1 tsp 
  • Aesofoetida 
  • Onion 
  • Curry leaves
  • Salt
Method 
  • Soak rice and dal separately for two hours 
  • Then grind rice with red chillis and the dal separately 
  • Now mix both the batter together, it can be of thin consistency 
  • Heat oil in kadai, add mustard seeds, finely chopped onion;(fry well), curry leaves, aesofoetida 
  • Pour the seasoning to the rice, dhal batter, add salt to taste 
  • Heat the tava, and pour the batter from outer edge to middle of the tava, wait until it is cooked well and becomes golden colour add oil around 
Serve hot with any chutney or sambar.
