Buttermilk Pancakes 

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sifted flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/4 tsp. soda
  • 3/4 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 eggs (ubeaten)
  • 2 cups fresh buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup melted butter

Method

  • Sift dry ingredients together. 
  • Add remaining ingredients and stir to just moisten dry ingredients. 
  • Mixture will be thick and lumpy. 
  • Drop by spoonful onto lightly greased griddle, spreading batter with spoon. 
  • Turn cakes as soon as browned and cook the other side until browned.
