Sarvapindi

Ingredients

  • Rice flour 2 cups
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • Ginger Garlic paste 1/2 Tsp
  • Til 1 Tsp
  • Chana Dal soaked in water 3 Tsp
  • Green chilly paste 1 Tsp
  • Salt
  • Cooking Oil
Method
  • Mix all the above ingredients and knead with required amount of water (like chapati dough). Divide the dough into two equal pieces and roll them into balls.
  • Grease a frying pan with a little cooking oil. Take one of the balls of dough and flatten it all along the frying pan till about 1/4 inch thick. Make about 3 holes at the center of this pan cake before frying, so that it cooks evenly. Fry on medium heat till it is golden brown at the bottom. It does not have to be turned over, add a little more oil if needed on the holes and to the sides.
Serve it with yogurt
