Mixed Fruit Halwa 

Ingredients 

  • 10 dates 
  • 50 gms Raisins
  • 1/4 cup milk 
  • 4 ripe Bananas 
  • 20 Cashewnuts
  • 10 Blanched almonds
  • 1cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water 
  • Milk of 1/2 coconut
  • 1/2 tsp Saffron 
  • 1/2 cup Ghee 
  • 1Tbsp Rose Water 
  • 2 tsbp Honey 
Method 
  • Grind raisins and dates using a little Milk. 
  • Mash bananas. 
  • Grind Cashewnuts and chop almonds. 
  • Make a syrup of one thread consistency using sugar and water. 
  • Add bananas and cashewnuts mixed with coconut Milk. Cook for 5 minutes. 
  • Add ground dates and raisins. When thick, add ghee gradually. 
  • Add chopped almonds and saffron soaked in rose water. 
  • When mixture leaves the sides of the pan remove from heat. 
  • Add the honey and pour into a plate and decorate with chopped nuts.
