Mixed Fruit Halwa
Ingredients
- 10 dates
- 50 gms Raisins
- 1/4 cup milk
- 4 ripe Bananas
- 20 Cashewnuts
- 10 Blanched almonds
- 1cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- Milk of 1/2 coconut
- 1/2 tsp Saffron
- 1/2 cup Ghee
- 1Tbsp Rose Water
- 2 tsbp Honey
Method
- Grind raisins and dates using a little Milk.
- Mash bananas.
- Grind Cashewnuts and chop almonds.
- Make a syrup of one thread consistency using sugar and water.
- Add bananas and cashewnuts mixed with coconut Milk. Cook for 5 minutes.
- Add ground dates and raisins. When thick, add ghee gradually.
- Add chopped almonds and saffron soaked in rose water.
- When mixture leaves the sides of the pan remove from heat.
- Add the honey and pour into a plate and decorate with chopped nuts.
