Stuffed Potato
Ingredients
- 4 oval shape potato
- 250 gm green peas
- 4 medium size tomatoes
- 1/2 tsp. cumin seeds
- Mustard seeds
- 5, 6 curry leaves
- Salt
- 1 tsp. garlic paste
- 1 tsp. garlic paste
- 1, 2 green chilies
- 1/2 tsp. red chilly powder
- 1/2 tsp. Hot spicy powder
- 1/2 tsp. turmeric powder
Method
- Peel potatoes and make 2 parts of each potato.
- Carve these half potatoes like shape of bowl.
- Keep these cavities in deep water. Freeze it for 2 hours.
- Cut each tomato in four parts, then cook in microwave for 6 to 7
min. till its skin becomes soft. Grind it in mixer.
- Heat oil in pan, add cumin and mustard seeds and curry leaves.
- Add 1/2 garlic & ginger paste, red chilly powder, turmeric powder,
hot spicy powder, tomato puree and salt. Bring it to boil.
- Heat little oil in pan, add mustard seeds, when it splutters add
cumin seeds, curry leaves, garlic, ginger paste, turmeric powder. Add
peas, salt and fry it.
- Dry potato carved halves by paper napkin. Grease little oil to each
halves. Cook in microwave for 10 min. till it is cooked well or deep
fry in oil.
- Stuff these potato halves with peas
- Pour hot puree in serving bowl and put these stuffed potatoes in
it.
